At ACE we are bursting with ambition. Our family of leading agencies is therefore growing rapidly. From your role at Ace, we will try to facilitate and support all agencies in the people area. On the one hand, it is the enormous growth of the agencies that requires a thorough vision on growth and training. On the other hand, there is a major challenge in aligning procedures, ways of working and working conditions. The challenge of this role is getting projects started. We have a lot of plans and ambitions, they need to be turned into concrete plans and landed in all the agencies within Ace. So are you that go getter we are looking for?
Your week is never the same and the projects and activities alternate at a rapid pace. In the same week, you can think strategically about setting up an overarching traineeship, implementing a new ARBO- portal or the internal application process or setting goals related to absence and mental health. And on the other hand, think operationally about how we can equalize different benefits, pour this into a presentation and visit agencies to make it land. It really is a combination of hands-on working at projects, on the other hand, helping to build the long-term vision of People within Ace. And all this is based on trust. You will be given the opportunity to work independently based on your knowledge and to tackle projects or put points on the agenda.
In this role you are the first point of contact at group level for the various HR colleagues within the offices. Under the People umbrella falls: People/HR, Recruitment and Venue. As a People Business Partner Lead you are, next to our Recruiter, one of the first team members within the Ace People team, working directly under the Chief People Officer. The Ace team now consists of 13 colleagues with different specializations. You also have daily contact with the various HR colleagues at the various agencies (260 employees in total) and freelancers (recruiters).
Who are we looking for?
As our People Business Partner Lead you are the linchpin in the network between all agencies (incl there People Managers). You feel like a fish in water by keeping ten different projects running and, above all, land well within the team. From your HR experience you know exactly what it takes to build the HR side of a company. You have a strong basic knowledge of secondary employment conditions, the labor market, possible benefits and last but not least: your people's antenna is safely adjusted, you know how people are doing and how you can help them. You do not solve this with adhesive tape, but put this on the people's agenda and ensure that the team is working on a structural solution! Above all, our new colleague is a team player. We firmly believe that as a team you can go further than alone!
- 4+ years of work experience in the HR/People field
- You have demonstrably strong knowledge of the HR profession: administrative, contractual, benefits
- You have applicable knowledge of Dutch employment law (from experience or study)
- You have experience in independently managing large projects
- Your peoples antennae are safely tuned, you know what's going on, always
- You can coach colleague Business Partners over multiple agencies and include them in our central plans
- You have a modern vision on HR/People, such as: Learning & Development, Leadership and Diversity & Inclusion
- You have great ideas in the field of Employer Branding for Ace and its agencies!
- You are great at Powerpoint/Notes and Excel
- You speak and write English and Dutch fluently
